Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day was held at the
Fairgrounds Sunday, October 12th. It was a beautiful sunny
day with lots of constant visitors to our tables and
activities. Stephanie and Jerry Litten and Alisha Williams
set up the tent, tables, chairs, and the St. Paul's UCC
banner the day before. It was so nice to just walk in on
Sunday ready to go! Susan and David Brill brought the helium
tank and got our St. Paul's balloons filled up. Susan was a
clown all day, complete with the hair, makeup, outfit, and
big shoes. Along with handing out balloons, she managed to
keep her makeup almost smear proof!! Suzanne Loveland coordinated the prayer
rocks with the glass beads very popular with the children.
Stephanie and Jerry popped popcorn and were busy handing
this out as well. Janice Heishman was always available to
help out with whatever needed to be done. Janice, Jerry, and
Micah watched our booth, so we could all watch the Junior
choir perform their dance and songs. Special thanks to the
junior choir for coming and Barbara Johnson and Mary Catlett
for entertaining everyone. The junior choir just danced
their feet off with Beach Beatitudes and then sang so
beautifully into the microphones! Alisha coordinated the tattoo parlor with
lots of help from Anna, Grant, Jonathan, Layla,, Desiree,
TJ, and Pam Baker. Rose and Ann Holland were also present
pitching in with all tasks. Kaitlin and Corey along with
Jordan tried to keep everyone organized. Dawn and Ashley
also helped man the tent. Ashley is really into making
prayer rocks! Alberta and Craig were also present with
Craig taking pictures of everyone. Thanks to everyone for all of their help
and efforts with this fun day Suzanne
